Reports regarding former Argentine President Mauricio Macri’s political future have emerged through media commentary and direct statements. Initially, journalist Baby Etchecopar claimed to have received information suggesting that Macri “will never again run for president.”

Macri later addressed his political standing in a streaming interview, where he reflected on his decision not to seek office again. He cited the “immense symbolic pressure and loss of personal freedom” associated with the presidency as a primary reason for his departure from the race. During this discussion, Macri also criticized Kirchnerism, describing it as a movement defined by “resentment, arbitrariness, and cheap populism” that manipulates social justice for state enrichment.
