The Mazovian Voivodeship Self-government and the Warsaw Chamber Opera are launching a regional tour of the musical ‘Gdzie jest Róża?’ (Where is Rose?). The production, written by Jerzy Wołosiuk and directed by Jerzy Jan Połoński, commemorates the 500th anniversary of Mazovia’s incorporation into the Kingdom of Poland.

The musical incorporates elements of crime, adventure, fairy tales, and contemporary musical theatre. The plot centers on two officials, Witold Właściwy and Konrad Cudny, as they search for a missing legend from Wyszków to prevent it from being archived. During their journey through the Mazovian region, the characters encounter various folkloric figures such as Boruta and Master Twardowski.
