The suspects reportedly operated through commercial entities posing as health centers, attracting victims with offers of free health assessments. 

Investigators claim the suspects used these assessments to exaggerate the severity of medical conditions, convincing victims to purchase medical devices at prices significantly higher than market value. In several cases, victims were persuaded to finance these purchases through personal loans, with suspects sometimes accompanying the elderly to banks or signing credit contracts directly on mobile terminals.
