In Olsztyn, an otolaryngologist at the Wojewódzki Specjalistyczny Szpital Dziecięcy used specialized forceps and a suction device to remove a fly from a five-year-old boy’s ear. 

In Wrocław, a family reported an eighteen-hour delay at the Uniwersytecki Szpital Kliniczny while seeking a neurological consultation for a sick son. The mother alleged that hospital staff mistakenly marked them as absent in the system, removing them from the waiting list. A hospital spokesperson responded that medical procedures were followed correctly and attributed the delays to a “high volume of patients.”
