Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine has revealed the existence of at least two unreleased tracks, ‘Bloodlust’ and ‘Farewell My Love’, recorded during the sessions for the band’s self-titled album. He also noted the potential existence of a third track, ‘When Robots Rule’. 

Mustaine indicated a preference for creating new music over revisiting archives. The band is currently entering a farewell period, influenced by Mustaine’s struggle with Dupuytren's disease, which impacts his guitar playing. Following the commercial success of their recent album, which reached number one on the US Billboard 200, a farewell tour is planned, including European dates in 2027.
