In late September, the Governor launched the second phase of the ‘We Are All With You’ initiative in Tala. This focused on resolving a sewage crisis in Kafr Rabi village, where residents reported that issues with treatment plants and groundwater caused stagnant water to damage homes and agricultural land. The Governor ordered the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company to expedite repairs and directed officials to provide financial aid and medical assistance to vulnerable families. By October, the Governor’s activities expanded to include inspections of healthcare facilities and urban improvements. Following a nighttime inspection of the Shebin El-Kom Specialized Surgery Hospital to ensure the availability of supplies, the Governor awarded 70,000 EGP in bonuses to medical staff. Additionally, he inaugurated renovated public squares in the East Shebin El-Kom district as part of broader urban infrastructure enhancements. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-10: Menofia Governor inspects hospital and awards medical staff bonuses Menofia Governor Amr El-Gharib inspected Shebin El-Kom Specialized Surgery Hospital, awarding 70,000 EGP in bonuses to medical staff and inaugurating new urban development projects in the region. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/menofia-governor-inspects-hospital-and-awards-medical-staff-bonuses ### 2026-09-30: Menofia Governor addresses sewage crisis and public services in Kafr Rabi Menofia Governor Amr Al-Gharib launched a community initiative in Tala to resolve urgent sewage, infrastructure, and social welfare issues, specifically targeting the ongoing crisis in Kafr Rabi village. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/menofia-governor-addresses-sewage-crisis-and-public-services-in-kafr-rabi --- Cite as: Menofia governorate public service and infrastructure works.
