The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) released preseason rankings for the 2026-27 men’s college golf season. The University of Florida was named the unanimous No. 1 team in the nation, receiving top selections across the GCAA Coaches’ Poll, the Golf Channel, and Golfweek.

The Florida Gators return four of five starters from their previous season and have several players, including Luke Poulter, Zack Swanwick, and Jack Turner, named as preseason All-Americans. The team is scheduled to start its season at the Sahalee Players Championship on September 12-13.

Additionally, Florida State University’s men’s golf team is ranked No. 20 in the GCAA poll. Four members of the Seminoles are set to compete in the Folds of Honor Collegiate from September 7-9 at the American Dunes Golf Club.
