The manufacturer conducted a worldwide tour titled ‘140 Years. 140 Places’ using the new S-Class, which traveled over 50,000 kilometers across six continents. The tour visited 140 symbolic locations representing the brand’s history and international presence—including stops in South America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania—before concluding in Stuttgart, Germany.

Localized events have accompanied the tour, such as an art presentation by Noah Becker in Munich titled ‘MERCEDES-BENZ – 140 PLACES’, which was inspired by personal stories related to the brand. In Egypt, the company released the ‘140 Years of Innovation Edition’, consisting of four exclusive luxury versions of the C 180, E 200, GLC 200 SUV, and GLC 200 Coupé, alongside a maintenance discount campaign for high-mileage vehicles.

On October 18, 2026, the ‘140 Festival’ was held at the Mercedes-Benz Museum to conclude the celebrations. The event drew approximately 15,000 visitors and featured a convoy of 140 historical and modern vehicles. 

The ‘140 Years. 140 Places’ expedition, launched on January 29, 2026, was completed by three S-Class limousines named Bertha, Carl, and Gottlieb. The journey covered 65,000 kilometers across 55 countries and 13 climate zones, navigating extreme conditions such as the Himalayas at 5,800 meters, monsoon flooding in India, and unpaved tracks in Kenya, Tanzania, and Zambia. The tour served as a real-world durability test for the S-Class models. A major highlight of the festival was the world premiere of the new Mercedes-AMG GT SUV.
