The eighth edition of the Mercurio Festival is scheduled to begin on September 19 at Spazio Open within the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa. 

The festival opens with a preview titled ‘Crescere, la guerra’, a production by Francesca Mannocchi and Rodrigo D’Erasmo directed by Giorgina Pi. This performance examines the impact of war on daily life using testimonies from Gaza, Afghanistan, and Syria. 

Following the opening, the program includes ‘DMT – Death Mort Tod’ by Marìka Pugliatti from September 20 to September 24, a project combining theater, installation, and immersive performance produced with Gibellina Off.
