The residency utilizes 16K LED screens and specialized Holoplot audio systems for 360-degree visuals and spatial audio. Following a ‘No Repeat Weekend’ format, the band presents varying setlists for each performance on Thursdays and Saturdays. Recent shows have featured rare tracks such as ‘Devil’s Dance,’ ‘The Outlaw Torn,’ ‘Battery,’ and ‘...And Justice for All.’ To mark the residency, the band partnered with Adidas Originals for a merchandise collection featuring branded apparel. In conjunction with the residency, the band also partnered with the American Red Cross and the All Within My Hands Foundation for the ‘Metallica X Red Cross #BleedingMe’ blood drive. A themed pop-up donation center has operated at Fashion Show Las Vegas, featuring a replica backstage area. Frontman James Hetfield has faced scrutiny regarding the band’s political neutrality. During the residency, Hetfield reiterated that the band is not there to influence audiences with ‘bullshit’ like other entertainers, stating, ‘We’re here to forget about all the outside shit, okay? Metallica’s agenda is love, energy and heavy music, baby!’ These remarks sparked significant controversy. Former Pink Floyd bassist Roger Waters criticized Hetfield on ‘The Katie Halper Show,’ calling him a ‘prick’ and a ‘nobody,’ while questioning his musical intelligence. Additionally, Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx was noted for expressing similar sentiments regarding political neutrality during his own tour, mirroring Hetfield’s stance. ## Claims - James Hetfield stated during a Metallica show at the Sphere that the band is not there to influence people with political messages.
