Mexican cycling has seen significant international activity through major UCI events. In late August, Mexican cyclists achieved a podium sweep in the Elite Men’s and Women’s categories during the UCI Gravel World Series held in Arteaga, Coahuila.

Following this, the Mexican national team reached a milestone at the UCI Road World Championships in Montreal. The squad became the first Latin American nation to compete in the mixed team time trial event, finishing in 14th place despite experiencing mechanical issues such as a flat tire and a broken chain.
