Municipal governments in Mexico have implemented various administrative and infrastructure reforms. 

In Cuautitlán Izcalli, the City Council approved modifications to the 2026 Annual Works Program to strengthen urban infrastructure and public services. The Council also established the Municipal Development Planning Commission to improve institutional coordination and territorial development planning.

In Cuautla, Morelos, authorities announced the rehabilitation of a local fire station, including new equipment and improved facilities. The municipality also launched a project to rehabilitate rural harvest roads in coordination with the state government and local ejidos. Furthermore, the Cuautla City Council modified its 2026 Annual Works Program and authorized property tax discount campaigns for early 2027.
