Authorities in Mexico City arrested a 76-year-old woman, Martha N, for allegedly orchestrating the murder of a street vendor in the Morelos neighborhood. 

Investigators from the Fiscalía General de Justicia de la Ciudad de México determined the killing resulted from a dispute regarding the use of a shared courtyard in a residential building. The victim reportedly used the common area to store merchandise, leading to friction with the suspect. 

According to the investigation, Martha N allegedly hired a group of men to attack the vendor, who was killed via physical assault and sharp weapons. The suspect was located by police and transferred to the Santa Martha Acatitla women’s prison.
