Authorities in Mexico City and the State of Mexico have established the vehicle verification schedule for October 2026. The requirements are based on sticker color and license plate endings.

Vehicles with red stickers and license plates ending in 3 or 4 are required to complete verification by October 31, 2026. For those with green stickers and license plates ending in 1 or 2, the deadline is November 30, 2026. Periodic verification remains mandatory for all vehicles, with the exception of those holding a valid ‘00’ hologram. In the State of Mexico, the ‘00’ hologram is valid for two years, whereas holograms 0, 1, and 2 require regular renewal.
