A Michael Jordan jersey worn during Game 3 of the 1998 NBA Finals has sold for a record-breaking amount between $12.26 million and $12.3 million. The white number 23 jersey was used during the Chicago Bulls' victory against the Utah Jazz, a period famously known as ‘The Last Dance’.

The auction was conducted via Joopiter, a digital platform founded by Pharrell Williams. This sale established a new record for the most expensive NBA jersey ever sold, surpassing a previous $10.1 million record set in 2022 for another Jordan jersey from the same championship series. While a significant milestone for basketball memorabilia, the price remains below the $24.1 million record set by a Babe Ruth jersey in 2024.
