New entertainment and tourism developments have launched in the Middle East, specifically in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

In Saudi Arabia, the SEVEN Abha Entertainment Destination opened as the first completed project under Saudi Entertainment Ventures’ nationwide program. This SAR 1.5 billion development features themed public spaces and immersive experiences inspired by the Aseer region. Following this, Seven Entertainment Projects Company, a subsidiary of Qiddiya Investment Company, opened Seven Tabuk. This indoor facility offers various attractions, including ‘Discovery Adventures’ and ‘Hot Wheels E-Karting’, and is intended to align with Saudi Vision 2030 goals to enhance quality of life and regional development.

In the United Arab Emirates, Shamsa Entertainment City opened in Sharjah’s Aljada community. Operating under the ‘Shamsa Festival’ theme, the site provides interactive zones such as culinary workshops and augmented reality play arenas to stimulate local retail and tourism.
