Sources: 40. Developments: 2. Mike Tyson has confirmed that he personally delivered a letter from incarcerated music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs to President Donald Trump. Combs, who is serving a 50-month sentence for crimes related to the transportation of individuals for prostitution, reportedly requested the favor during a phone conversation with Tyson. While Trump has acknowledged receiving a letter from Combs, he has expressed doubts regarding a pardon due to past criticisms made by the rapper. Following these developments, Tyson accompanied President Trump on Air Force One to a campaign rally in Syracuse, New York, supporting Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman. During the event, Tyson stated, “I’m just happy to be up here with my president,” while Trump referred to Tyson as “one of the greatest fighters in history.” In a subsequent interview on SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live,” Tyson elaborated on the situation, expressing surprise at the government’s use of the Mann Act—a federal statute dating back to 1910—to secure the conviction against Combs. Tyson’s increasing political visibility has since drawn mixed reactions from fans regarding his transition from a sports icon to a political figure. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-10: Mike Tyson supports Donald Trump at Syracuse rally and confirms delivering Diddy's letter Mike Tyson appeared at a Donald Trump rally in Syracuse and confirmed he personally delivered a pardon request letter from incarcerated rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs to the former president. 11 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/mike-tyson-accompanies-donald-trump-to-new-york-campaign-rally ### 2026-10-08: Mike Tyson delivers Sean Combs' pardon request to Donald Trump Mike Tyson confirmed he hand-delivered a letter from imprisoned rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs to Donald Trump requesting a presidential pardon. 31 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/mike-tyson-delivers-letter-to-donald-trump-for-sean-diddy-combs --- Cite as: Mike Tyson involvement in Sean Combs pardon request.
