Italian singer Mina is scheduled to release her new ten-track album, ‘Dilettevoli inedite eccedenze’, on October 9. This project is the third volume in a series dedicated to releasing recordings previously held in the artist’s archives due to editorial decisions or thematic inconsistencies. Produced by her son, Massimiliano Pani, the album is described as a ‘musical herbarium’ of different eras, featuring tracks spanning from the 1970s to early 2026. The collection includes a version of ‘Vento di passione’ and a flamenco-style rendition of ‘Eleanor Rigby’. Technical remixes have been applied to enhance audio quality while preserving the original historical character of the recordings. A significant highlight of the release is ‘Carrettieri’, a song written by Alfonso Gibilaro in 1949. Although Mina recorded the track in the 1970s, it had never been released on a studio album until now. This marks the first time a song in the Sicilian language will appear on one of her studio albums. The tracklist also features works by Pino Daniele, Jimmy Fontana, and Henri Salvador, reflecting Mina’s artistic curiosity and exploration of various genres. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-09: Mina to release new album featuring rare Sicilian track Mina will release her new album “Dilettevoli inedite eccedenze” on October 9, featuring rare recordings and her first studio track performed in Sicilian. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/mina-to-release-new-album-featuring-rare-sicilian-track ### 2026-10-06: Mina to release new album ‘Dilettevoli inedite eccedenze’ Italian icon Mina will release ‘Dilettevoli inedite eccedenze’ on October 9, a new album featuring unreleased recordings spanning from the 1970s to 2026. 8 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/mina-to-release-new-album-dilettevoli-inedite-eccedenze ### 2026-09-18: Mina releases new single ‘Vento di passione’ Mina releases ‘Vento di passione’, a new cover of Pino Daniele’s song, as the lead single for her upcoming unreleased covers album ‘Dilettevoli inedite eccedenze’. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/mina-releases-new-single-vento-di-passione --- Cite as: Mina album and single release.
