Initially, Sun Silver completed a high-resolution helicopter-borne magnetic and radiometric survey at its Maverick silver project to improve geological interpretation and refine drill targeting. 

Following these efforts, Sun Silver and Hycroft Mining reported significant high-grade silver and gold drill results. Sun Silver intersected a broad silver-gold zone at the Maverick project, with results extending outside the current mineral resource estimate. Hycroft Mining confirmed high-grade silver continuity at its Brimstone and Vortex systems, with drilling at Brimstone moving mineralization closer to the surface.
