Various national competitions are selecting representatives for the 75th Miss Universe pageant, scheduled to take place in Puerto Rico this November.

In India, 19-year-old Kaziah Liz Mejo, a law student from Kerala, was crowned Miss Universe India 2026 in Jaipur. She emerged victorious from 53 contestants, marking the first time a representative from Kerala has won the title. Vaishnavi Gannesh was named first runner-up, while Anushri Satavlekar was named second runner-up and Miss International India 2026.

In Colombia, María Alejandra López Pérez, a 32-year-old industrial engineer from Risaralda, was crowned Miss Universe Colombia 2026 during a gala in Barranquilla. The event was noted for the absence of outgoing queen Vanessa Pulgarín, who cited scheduling conflicts and communication issues with the organization for her inability to attend the coronation.
