The Miss Venezuela 2026 competition has officially commenced with the band assignment gala held at Venevision’s Estudio 1. Twenty-five candidates participated in the event, where they were formally assigned to represent various states and regions of the country.

The televised ceremony, hosted by Leo Aldana, featured an opening performance involving former titleholders. This season places a specific emphasis on social commitment and the candidates' dance abilities.

In a move toward increased digital interactivity, the competition has introduced a digital voting system for “special bands.” Viewers can participate via QR codes displayed during broadcasts to vote for specific attributes of the contestants. The winners of these special awards are scheduled to be announced during a gala on November 5.

As part of the official launch of the 2026 Beauty Season, the candidates have undergone months of training in catwalk, public speaking, stage presence, and social responsibility. The upcoming schedule includes the Beauty Gala, jury evaluations, and the presentation of social projects. The eventual winner will receive the crown from outgoing sovereign Clara Vegas.
