A 79-year-old man with Alzheimer’s, Hasan Cihan, was located safe in an olive grove in the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale after being missing for two days. He had left his summer home in the Sazlıaltı area with the intention of traveling to Istanbul.

Search operations involving gendarmerie commando units, AFAD, and AKUT teams focused on the Sazlı village area, specifically targeting forested terrain and olive groves. Following his discovery, Cihan was taken to Ayvacık State Hospital for precautionary medical examinations.
