On October 29, authorities in Sălaj and Cluj counties launched a large-scale search for three siblings, aged 11, 12, and 13, who disappeared from the village of Borla. Following the disappearance, police mobilized over 50 officers and issued RO-Alert messages. Investigators explored several theories, including a possible abduction, after a report suggested one child might have been seen with a man suspected to be the mother’s former partner.

On October 31, two of the three siblings, Denis Antonio Rostaș and Raluca Mădălina Rostaș, were located near Șardu in Cluj County alongside their father. The children are being transported to the Sălaj County Police Inspectorate for further verification to clarify the circumstances of their disappearance. Authorities, including police, gendarmes, and volunteers, continue intensive search operations to locate the third sibling, 13-year-old Ioan Rostaș.
