The South Tripura District Police recovered a minor girl from Sabroom who had been missing since June. Authorities traced the girl to Bengaluru, over 3,000 kilometers away, using technical and digital leads such as Call Data Record (CDR) and Location Based Services (LBS) analysis, supported by the National Intelligence Grid (NATGRID).

A police team coordinated with the Bengaluru City Police to rescue the girl and arrest the accused. Following the issuance of a transit warrant, the suspect and the minor were returned to Tripura on August 14. The accused is currently facing jurisdictional court proceedings, while the minor is receiving care under child-protection procedures.
