Recent reports from Sergipe involve two distinct cases regarding missing individuals.

In the Porto da Folha region, the body of a 40-year-old indigenous man was recovered from the São Francisco River on November 11. The man had been missing since November 8 after going fishing. The recovery effort involved the Military Firefighters Corps of Sergipe and members of the Xokó indigenous village.

Separately, the Sergipe Identification Institute successfully identified a man who had been missing from São Paulo for four years. The individual was found in a vulnerable state in the 13 de Julho neighborhood of Aracaju.
