Authorities in Sonora, Mexico, have resolved two separate cases involving missing individuals.

In early October, a 47-year-old elementary school janitor reported missing in Hermosillo was located safe in the Dunas neighborhood. The individual informed investigators that his disappearance since October 2 was voluntary, stating he had walked without a destination to clear his mind due to personal matters.

In late October, a 16-year-old teenager who had been missing from Hermosillo since July was located in Cajeme. The discovery was made by the Secretariat of National Defense during a patrol in the Casa Real neighborhood. Military personnel observed the teenager and another minor allegedly exchanging plastic wrappers for cash with a motorcyclist. Following an inspection, authorities reportedly found marijuana, crystal, and cash in their possession. The Sonora Attorney General's Office is investigating the circumstances of the minor's disappearance.
