Separate search and rescue operations have been reported in different regions of Turkey involving missing individuals.

In Kocaeli, authorities are searching for Mustafa Gedikli, a former village headman, after his vehicle was swept away by floodwaters in the Başiskele district following heavy rainfall. While his overturned car was located in a stream bed, Gedikli was not found inside. Kocaeli Governor İlhami Aktaş noted that the region experienced unprecedented rainfall and landslides.

In Bursa, search efforts are underway for 33-year-old Emrah Gedik, who has been missing from the Inegol district since late October. Law enforcement and rescue teams, including AFAD and local police, are utilizing drones and search dogs to scan stream beds and roads. Authorities have reviewed hundreds of security camera recordings, but no traces of Gedik have been found.
