Built on the same platform as the Nissan LEAF, the Eclipse Sportback utilizes a 75 kWh liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery and a 214-horsepower, single-motor, front-wheel drive powertrain. While sharing underlying components with the Nissan model, Mitsubishi has applied unique exterior design elements, such as custom headlights, taillights, wheels, a specific grille, and redesigned bumpers.
