In Liupo, Nampula, a 30-year-old man was killed by a mob in the Namunlo neighborhood following suspicions that he was attempting a robbery at a nearby residence. The victim, a father of three, was reportedly carbonized by local residents. 

Ussene Raul, the secretary of the Namunlo neighborhood, confirmed the victim was found near a secondary school. While some community members suggested the man was a known thief, the National Criminal Investigation Service (SERNIC) has appealed to the public to refrain from taking the law into their own hands and to report suspects to the authorities instead.
