During a 2. Bundesliga match between 1. FC Nürnberg and Energie Cottbus, Nürnberg striker Mohamed Ali Zoma suffered a shoulder injury. Zoma, an Italian international who has scored seven goals this season, was forced to leave the pitch in the 30th minute following a collision.

Initial reports suggested the injury might be a bruise, but subsequent updates indicate a dislocated left shoulder. The 22-year-old was reportedly “visibly emotional” as he left the field.

The injury is considered a significant setback for Nürnberg, who rely heavily on Zoma for their promotion ambitions. Despite the loss of their star player, Nürnberg maintained an undefeated streak in eight matches this season, securing a 1-1 draw after Butler scored for Cottbus in the second half.
