The Mohanagar Express, which previously operated on the Dhaka-Chittagong route, is being extended to provide direct service to Cox's Bazar. 

Starting October 26, the service will connect Dhaka's Kamalapur station to the coastal tourism hub. The train is scheduled to depart Dhaka at 8:30 PM, arriving in Chittagong at 2:40 AM and reaching Cox's Bazar at 6:00 AM. The return journey departs Cox's Bazar at 9:00 AM, arriving in Dhaka at 6:30 PM. 

The expanded service utilizes 16 coaches with a seating capacity of 736. While the train will stop at intermediate stations such as Narsingdi, Brahmanbaria, Comilla, and Feni, the stop at Kumira station in Sitakunda has been canceled for this route. Fares for the journey from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar range from 685 BDT to 1,570 BDT.
