Prosecutors moved to trial a group accused of planning four contract killings in Kyiv, Ukraine. The alleged plot targeted a military officer, a journalist, a state enterprise leader, and a public administration representative using cryptocurrency for payments and disguises to monitor targets. Law enforcement in Moldova and Ukraine intervened, seizing weapons and explosives. The Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases (PCCOCS) noted the group planned to use 400,000 USD for the hits.
