In recent interviews, such as with Harper’s Bazaar España, Bellucci has reflected on the process of aging, describing it as a ‘wonderful gift’ and a privilege that offers a new perspective on both life and her craft. She noted that maturity provides a sense of detachment and life experience that adds depth to her performances, expressing a desire to age with dignity. This newfound emotional complexity is central to her upcoming role in the psychological thriller ‘The Birthday Party,’ directed by Léa Mysius. Bellucci expressed that the role requires an emotional weight and internal complexity—including the ‘scars’ that come with age—that she feels she could not have achieved during her 30s or 40s. Bellucci’s career continues to span high-profile fashion and international cinema. Following her beginnings in Milanese modeling for brands like Dior and Dolce & Gabbana, she achieved stardom through roles in films such as ‘Malena’, ‘Irreversible’, ‘The Matrix’ series, ‘The Passion of the Christ’, and the James Bond film ‘Spectre’. Her professional milestones also include a César Award nomination for ‘L’Appartement’. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-29: Monica Bellucci celebrates 62nd birthday and reflects on aging Italian icon Monica Bellucci celebrates her 62nd birthday, reflecting on her career in film and fashion and embracing aging as a ‘wonderful gift’ that brings depth to her acting. 20 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/monica-bellucci-career-highlights-and-beauty-preferences ### 2026-09-27: Monica Bellucci celebrates 62nd birthday amid high-profile appearances Italian actress Monica Bellucci celebrates her 62nd birthday following recent high-profile appearances in Monaco, Rome, and Paris. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/monica-bellucci-celebrates-62nd-birthday-amid-high-profile-appearances --- Cite as: Monica Bellucci birthday and career profile.
