The government directed various ministries and local authorities to take legal steps to nullify the permit to protect the Boka region, which is under UNESCO patronage. However, the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism, and State Property later overturned a construction ban issued against the company Carine regarding the first phase of the “Novi Novi” tourism resort project in Kumbor and Đenovići. The Ministry ruled that the previous ban lacked sufficient factual precision and clear reasoning. The matter has been returned to the inspectorate for a new procedure.
