In women’s volleyball, the Nampula team experienced mixed results. Interim coach Carmuto Paulo attributed a 3-0 defeat against the host province of Inhambane to a lack of unity, nerves, and the home-court advantage. However, Nampula secured a 3-2 comeback victory against Niassa after winning the final three sets, a feat Coach Carlito Paulo credited to improved concentration and teamwork.

By the conclusion of the games, the Nampula delegation achieved significant success, most notably winning the championship title in men’s 11-a-side football and finishing as runners-up in the women’s football category. The province also earned podium finishes in athletics (60-meter sprint and long jump), second place in women’s basketball, and third place in handball. The volleyball team finished in fourth place.
