Local activities in Azuqueca de Henares have transitioned from seasonal community festivals to municipal service maintenance and holiday planning.

In late September, the municipality concluded its September festivities with a fireworks display, float parades, and musical performances. Mayor Miguel Óscar Aparicio noted the events were successful with high attendance and minimal incidents.

By late October, the focus shifted to municipal upkeep and seasonal celebrations. The City Council scheduled a deep cleaning of the smart bicycle parking facility near the Cercanías train station, requiring users to vacate the 20-space area for maintenance. Concurrently, the municipality organized Halloween festivities, including a ‘Trick or Treat Route’, family workshops, horror cinema, and evening events such as a ‘Terror Passage’ and a DJ party.
