Local governments in O Porriño and Coria have initiated various infrastructure and social projects. In O Porriño, the municipality inaugurated a 557-square-meter multi-sport area near Campo da Feira, featuring a football pitch, basketball court, and renovated bio-health zone. Simultaneously, Coria opened a tender for a Traffic Children’s Park designed to teach road safety and civic behavior.

Following these developments, O Porriño has moved toward residential expansion. The Sociedade de Vivenda Pública de Galicia awarded a contract to Citanias Obras y Servicios, S. L. U. to construct a building containing 36 public housing units in the SUR-P PR-5 sector. This 21-month project, a collaboration with the Xunta de Galicia, aims to increase the municipal housing stock for youth and families in need.
