The municipality of São Gonçalo has introduced several community-focused initiatives covering economic, health, cultural, and athletic sectors.

In mid-October, the city launched programs including a tax reform lecture for micro-entrepreneurs and small businesses in partnership with Sebrae, alongside free rapid syphilis testing through the ‘Outubro Verde’ campaign.

Following these health and economic efforts, the municipality announced a series of free cultural events at the Teatro Municipal de São Gonçalo and the Centro de Tradições Nordestinas. Additionally, the ‘Saúde em Movimento’ project began offering free football classes for children and adolescents in the Boaçu neighborhood.
