Local municipalities in Poland are initiating projects to expand and improve selective municipal waste collection systems.

In Świeradów-Zdrój, construction has begun on a new facility on Wierzbowa Street. The project, valued at approximately 4.53 million PLN, is supported by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, and Environment 2021–2027. The planned infrastructure includes a steel warehouse, a vehicle scale, and a gatehouse.

In Częstochowa, the Częstochowskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunalne (CzPK) has announced a tender for a new collection point on Korfantego Street. Valued at over 7.1 million PLN, the project aims to increase recycling rates and will be co-financed by the ‘European Funds for Silesia 2021–2027’ program. This site is intended to supplement the existing facility in Sobuczyn.
