Eswatini has hosted a series of musical and spiritual gatherings. In late September, the country held the SOWINI worship event at the Light of Christ Auditorium, featuring gospel performers, and the Swazi Plaza Nights in Manzini, which included live music and a kiddies carnival.

Following these events, larger festivals were scheduled for late October. These included the SNAT Teachers’ Day Bash at the Mavuso Exhibition Centre featuring Amapiano and Afro-soul artists, as well as the three-day Simunye Fest in the Lubombo region, which combined maskandi and Amapiano performances with family activities.
