The musical adaptation of Jun Ikeido’s novel ‘Minno’ moved from its rehearsal phase to its official opening in Tokyo. The production, which depicts a comedic body-swap between Prime Minister Taizan Muto and his son Sho, held a rehearsal press conference in late August to showcase its musical styles and tailored script.

By early September, the production prepared to open at Theater Crea. Cast members expressed that the satirical play aims to make politics more accessible through laughter and to ‘make Japan energetic’ through its performance. The musical is scheduled to tour Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka.
