The musical production ‘Sonho Encantado de Cordel’ is scheduled to perform at the Theatro da Paz in Belém on October 17 and 18. Part of a national tour that has reached over 80,000 spectators, the show features music by Paulinho Moska, Chico César, and Zeca Baleiro.

Inspired by a 2005 carnival theme, the plot follows a young woman named Rosa Cordelista as she enters an enchanted realm of fairy tale characters. The production, presented by the Ministry of Culture and CAIXA Vida e Previdência, uses 14 performers to combine classical fairy tales with the tradition of cordel literature.
