In Muzaffarpur, police solved the disappearance of laptop businessman Manoj Bhagat and his wife, Meenu Devi, who had been missing since May 20, 2026. 

Authorities recovered skeletal remains wrapped in bedsheets and blankets from bushes near the Radha Swami Satsang Ashram. Forensic investigations had previously identified bloodstains at the couple’s residence. Investigators determined that Manoj’s younger brother, Avinash (also known as Anuj Bhagat), murdered the couple following a long-standing dispute over ancestral property.
