Nacon has announced the Revolution 5 Unlimited (R5U), a high-end, officially licensed asymmetric controller for PlayStation 5 and PC. The device is notable for featuring a built-in monochrome display, which allows users to adjust audio balance, stick sensitivity, and shortcut assignments in real-time without using console menus.

Technical specifications include the use of Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) analog sticks designed for higher precision, improved reliability, and reduced power consumption. The controller also features micro-switch action buttons, trigger blockers for instant-trigger technology, and a ‘Shooter Pro Mode’ to eliminate joystick dead zones.

The R5U is priced at approximately $229.99 and includes a charging dock, carrying case, and customization accessories. The launch follows a period of restructuring for Nacon after a recent insolvency filing.
