# NAIA weekly PrestoSports player honors

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has issued weekly PrestoSports honors to various student-athletes across multiple disciplines.

In late August, honors were awarded to Alex Neri of Ottawa University for men’s soccer defensive performance and Naomi Woerner of the New College of Florida for offensive achievements in women’s soccer. 

By late September, the scope of weekly honors expanded to include football, men’s soccer, and women’s volleyball. Notable recipients included Anthony Lonergan and Joshua Ferguson in football, Bernardo Juca and Andre Ferreira in men’s soccer, and Stella Winterfeld in women’s volleyball.
