The Japanese food chain Nakau has introduced new seasonal menu items. In late September, the company launched a mushroom oyakodon featuring shimeji, enoki, and eryngii mushrooms prepared in a Japanese-style ajillo sauce. Variations of the dish included a version with a three-cheese blend and another with a soft-boiled egg.

Following this, Nakau announced the October 28 launch of a ‘Shibikara Mara Tantan Udon’. This Sichuan-style dish utilizes a bonito and kelp broth mixed with sesame paste and chili oil, topped with white leeks and a mala sauce containing seven spices. The rollout for this new item is expected to cover approximately 446 locations.
