Actress Nancy Lee Grahn, known for her role as Alexis Davis on the ABC soap opera ‘General Hospital’, recently celebrated her nearly 30-year career with the show. In reflecting on her professional journey, Grahn credited her success to her audacity and the influence of Gloria Steinem.

However, Grahn has since faced significant backlash following a political post on Instagram. In the post, she directed profanity toward those who do not support Democratic candidates in the midterm elections, stating, “If you don’t vote blue in these midterms, I unequivocally hate you,” and adding that she “f***ing hate you.” While Grahn has a history of expressing strong political views on social media, this incident led some viewers to label her comments as “hateful and repulsive,” with some calling for her removal from the program.

Following these incidents, speculation has emerged regarding Grahn’s future career path due to her increased visibility with prominent Democratic politicians, including Nancy Pelosi, Doug Emhoff, Maxine Waters, and Christine Pelosi. While some fans have speculated about a potential transition into California politics or a recast of her character, Alexis Davis, Grahn has recently renewed her contract with ‘General Hospital’. Her political activities do not appear to have impacted her current filming schedule.
