Japanese professional bodybuilder Naotaka Yokokawa traveled to Las Vegas to compete in the Mr. Olympia competition following his victory in the 212-pound class at the ALLOUT Presents ZeniX Japan Pro in August.

During his debut appearance at the event, Yokokawa secured a 7th-place finish in the 212-pound division. After performing in the preliminary rounds alongside reigning champion Keion Pearson, Yokokawa was selected for the finals, where his performance was noted for its muscularity and posing precision. While his placement was considered a significant achievement for a Japanese competitor—drawing comparisons to Hidetada Yamagishi’s 3rd-place finish in 2015—Yokokawa expressed personal dissatisfaction with the result. Following the competition, he shared his feelings on social media, stating, “I am so frustrated, it is all I can think about,” while vowing to return to achieve victory.

Keion Pearson won the division title, marking his fourth consecutive victory.
