Napoli recently played to a 3-3 draw against Roma, a match that highlighted the team’s offensive quality alongside persistent defensive vulnerabilities. Despite holding a two-goal lead, the squad conceded a late equalizer to Roma defender Balerdi.

Analysts noted that while the return of players such as Scott McTominay and Kevin De Bruyne has restored technical quality, maintaining high intensity remains a challenge. Defensive stability has been further complicated by injuries to key players like Rrahmani and Badiashile.

Following the match, defender Sam Beukema issued a public apology to supporters via Instagram, expressing regret over the result and a commitment to learning from errors. Critics have raised concerns regarding whether recent transfer acquisitions can provide the necessary stability to help the club secure a top-four finish.
