Narconon Volley Melendugno, a Serie A2 women’s volleyball team, has progressed through its initial training and season preparation phases in the Salento region.

In late August, the team completed a week of intensive training involving tactical sessions, swimming pool recovery, and sand-based athletic strengthening. Coach Simone Giunta and trainer Andrea Blasi reported positive results regarding the team’s resilience and physical conditioning. 

By early September, the club moved into formal season preparations, which included a public presentation at the ‘Giganti in Volo’ international festival. The team also engaged in joint practice sessions with Zero5 Castellana Grotte, participating in a five-set match. Club leadership expressed satisfaction with the players' technical progress as the team also launched recruitment initiatives for the 2026/27 season.
